Prairie
Rose is a self contained group featuring the vocals of
Nancy and Kathy
Kitchen. Whether it be
a country ballad or a rousing disco tune, Kathy and Nancy
deliver a vocal performance of lead and harmony that makes a
night with Prairie Rose a special event.
Kathy Kitchen began her career at
the tender age of 7, performing on local opry shows. At the
age of 9 she was performing at some of the top clubs
in Nashville. At 12 she was a guest on the hit TV show
Hee Haw.
Following Hee Haw she was awarded a role in Robert Duval's
film Angelo, My Love and an NBC after school
special titled Sunshine's on the Way. Kathy
was also a guest on the long running TV show Nashville
Now.
Nancy Kitchen began her professional
music career in 2000. She joined the popular group, The
Edsels, and began a recording career in Nashville with
producer Danny Ramsey. Since joining Prairie Rose, Nancy
has delighted audiences with her ability to sing songs that
are seldom performed by cover bands.
Al
Kitchen was a member of The Edsels for several years
before forming Prairie Rose. Al plays guitar and adds lead
and harmony vocals. Al also produced the group's last CD.
The group released their new album,
Tell Me Why in February, 2006. Negotiations are
underway with at this time for a release of a single from
the new CD.
